I had a perfect experience and will be back. the location was magnificent and comfortable because it was just next door to nearby villages and markets and the finest tourist areas of the Dordogne Valley and Castelnaud-la-Chapelle.

Everything was wonderful, excellent service, stunning location short walk to a Rick Steve's Forum, the finest tourist areas of the Dordogne Valley, and the local supermarkets and shops. i got a wonderful and gorgeous breakfast with homemade desserts. the property's location was convenient and absolutely perfect, near to many beautiful villages. there was free wi-fi in all rooms and the service in general was exceptional.

The meals prepared by the hosts were truly a delightful experience, like having a Michelin-starred restaurant onsite. I couldn't resist the temptation to indulge in their scrumptious buffet breakfast, it was like a feast fit for a king!

We had a fantastic experience at La Tour De Cause Bed & Breakfast. the location was perfect for exploring the Perigord Noir area. the property itself was beautiful and provided a calming atmosphere. Our hosts, Jean and Anne, were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They helped us book a restaurant for our first evening and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions. the room was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. the breakfasts were a real highlight, with delicious homemade items like yoghurts and jams, along with freshly cooked eggs. We highly recommend staying here as a base for exploring the region. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😞.

The breakfast here was fantastic, with a great selection of tasty food. the beds were super comfy, and our room was big and really nice. the view from our room was amazing, overlooking a beautiful garden 🌳. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located close to many charming villages for exploring.

The nearest airport is a short drive from La Tour de Cause, making it extremely convenient for families traveling with children. The kids loved the excitement of flying and it was great to have a smooth and stress-free journey to start our vacation.

For dads, it would be great to have some more activities specifically tailored for children.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem in Castelnaud La Chapelle. The hosts, Igor and Nico, were so welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a boutique hotel feel and were spotlessly clean. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and the lovely addition of the guest lounge with an honesty bar. And the breakfasts on the terrace were simply delightful, especially Nico's divine pancakes. We can't wait to return and will definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our stay so lovely!

For families with children, my kids wished there were more activities available on-site.

The hosts, Nico and Igor, were delightful and knowledgeable. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The room, especially the high ceiling with wooden beams, was beautifully designed. our second stay in castelnaud la chapelle exceeded all expectations. la tour de cause bed & breakfast provided a five-star experience, treating us like royalty. the breakfast, prepared by train chefs nico and ygor, was absolutely fantastic. the warm rustic atmosphere and impeccable service made our stay unforgettable. highly recommended!
